Exciting things

1) There has been success in the family. The first surgery with money from the Tranny Wish Foundation was completed in December 2006. Yay. $2900 was used from shows put on by the Tranny Wish Foundation.

2) The new goal is to get the Foundation up and running as a registered charity. Over the next few months action will be put into place to help make this happen and get the community involved in it's growth.

3) The Tranny Wish Foundation presents:

Many Thanks

We are happy to announce that Rock Your Tits Off was a huge success. The performers were all so amazing and great, and the crowd was beyond fabulous. Everyone came with such positive vibes and created a great atmosphere. People were supportive, generous, fun, and danced their asses off to Kids on TV.

We also had great prizes to give out with thanks to the following supporters:
The Lid Lounge - thanks Alex (115B Church, 416-367-5437)
Fire on the East Side - master chef Luscious (www.fireontheeastside.ca)
Come as You Are (www.comeasyouare.com)
Exile (62 Kensington Ave.)
Barbie's Basement Jewellery (www.bbj.ca)
Kids on TV (www.kidsontv.biz)
Miss Congeniality 2 (not an "official" sponsor)

Thanks to the Gladstone and their staff for providing a wonderful space.

Watch out for Rock your Tits Off 2 coming in the summer.

Tranny Wish Foundation

Tranny Wish Foundation

So the ball is definitely rolling on the Tranny Wish Foundation. Word is getting out and lot of people are agreeing that this is something that needs to exist. The first fundraiser is set for Tuesday May 10th at the Gladstoner Hotel. Hopefully it will not only be the first of many Rock Your Tits Off shows, but will be the first of many in different cities.

The Foundation itself continues to be an ongoing project. We are working on a business plan and a new web site. We are also looking into the possibility of making it a registered charity. And we have received an offer from someone to be our accountant. So although it is a huge thing we are very excited about it and what the possibilities are for the future.
